Changing Parts On 2 Honda Accord LX's?

I just bought a 1989 Honda Accord LX ironically 4 days after I buy it the alternator goes out and the radiator blows a hole in it. I want to take the alternator off of a1996 Honda accord and the radiator and put them onto the 89 is this possible? They're both carbonated NOT fuel injected.
