Changing of air filter on 2006 Suzuki GSXR 600?

I need to change the air filter on my motorcycle but not sure of how to do it. I'm curious to know if changing the air filter on a motorcycle is as easy as changing the air filter on a car? If it is, how do I go about doing this? I have to take my bike to the shop and want to do as much as I can on my own without having to be charged from the shop.

and really should spend a few bucks and buy a repair manual will use it many times but you can find most repairs just by typing an dmight even find a video if you type it like how to replace motorcycle air filter video
