changing my verizon phone?

i have the env touch right now and i want to change it to a droid do i have to change my plan for this? i want to just buy this off ebay used or new and deactiveate the touch and activate the droid. can i do this or do i need to add a data plan for the droid?
 
The Droid, like any other smartphone, requires the unlimited data plan at $30. If youre buying it online, keep in mind that the phone will not have any kind of warranty and is also ineligible for insurance. You also run the risk of it being a lost or stolen phone so get the ESN from the seller before you buy and confirm it with Verizon
