I want to change my name to Inoue Shimizu..
For personal reasons and I dislike my ethnicity.. by the way I am half Korean and many say I look Japanese anyway.
I have a problem with my family and want to wipe out my past.. I hold my fathers name who left me and my mother when I was a child.
My aunt (who I get along with) supports me but says never forget who I am.. which I wont but in the future ill tell everyone im Japanese.
So, that isn't a issue.. but I also want to move to Japan for a fresh start and change my name through deed poll..
Is there any way I will get caught? (my passport simply says British).
Do you think saying im half Japanese would go better? because some people may be suspicious?
I just dont want to be guilty all my life or to be caught :/ I really love Japanese culture and just want to move on so badly..
