Changing my Nokia 6555 to PC Mode?

I have a Nokia 6555 with a dead screen. I'm getting a new phone. But I want to back-up my text messages using PC Suite. The only problem is that it's in music mode. Can someone with a 6555 (I know it's an old phone) tell me the steps needed to change it to pc mode
