Changing from Cing to TMo - long, sorry

My husband and I got new BBPearls through Cingular just a couple of weeks ago (through Amazon.com - rebate of $25 for one of the Pearls). Anyway, he got a new job with his work and he will get a new Blackberry through them at no cost to him (for the phone or service). For whatever reasons they gave the software his work uses on the company BBs is not compatible with the BBPearl so we are within our 30 days of having the BBPearls and are returning them (have to return them both to Amazon.com - returning only one violates the contract and will cost us big $$$). There is no point in us having one phone we are paying $$$ for that isn't being used so it's just "easier" to return them both, cancel our Cingular plan, and me get an individual and CHEAPER plan with TMo (MyFaves 300 with $20 unlimited BB plan makes it cheaper for me through TMo than Cingular).

Anyway , my point is - how can I save all of the phone #s, ringtones that I downloaded, etc. on my Cing BB so that I can put them on my new BBPearl (white) when it comes in from TMo? We are cutting it close on the 30 day return policy so we are returning the Cing BBPearls before my TMo Pearl comes in.

And, has anyone ever purchased a phone through Amazon.com with a rebate and had to return it? I'm hoping it isn't any trouble.

I hope this isn't terribly confusing!

Thanks, guys!!

for phone numbers do a backup, the other ones, ringtones and 3rd party apps I think 3rd party apps will carry through using the switch device wizard on the desktop manager after a backup.
ring tones may have to be saved to your microsd card, assuming you have one.
hope this helps

not sure why they are making you turn in BOTH when it is 2 separate contracts (one for each line) but Tmobile is pretty good too.

As said above you can back up the contacts, emails, calendars etc all from the Backup option. Then you can do the Switch Devices option to transfer all the programs that you have (like GoogleTalk etc). It will prompt you to connect old phone first, then new phone...

Thanks, All! I backed up all the info. on both phones and will hopefully be able to move the info. to the new BB when it arrives.

I thought we'd be able to send just his Pearl too, but Amazon.com said that both had to be sent back. ? No biggie though.
