Hi, Its def. time for a timing belt replacement, sometimes my car would be a little hard to start up. Possible timing belt problems, the car would shake and it would stall for a while then run normal, 132K miles. As I am on a budget, I was wondering was this a very hard DIY repair? Can anybody help guide me to a picture tutorial, link, pdf file or tell me how to do this. A lot of people keep telling me "Na leave the timing belt alone, you don't want to mess with it." Well I don't want to pay 400$ either. Thanks in advance

I would also go with a tune up before going after the timing Belt . Yes chrysler v6`s have belts not chains Silverst. But have a look here to see if you really want to try this yourself

Well, I hate to put it like this to you, but most V-6 engines in the Chrysler's don't have timing belts. They are timing chains. Have you considered doing a tune up on the engine first? Like change the spark plugs and change the filters, air and fuel? Would do them first then doing a timing chain. Good luck.
