is it a gas or diesel engine,because on the diesel engine its a lot easier than the gas engine to do,what you,d need to do is go to a salvage yard and tell them what your wanting to do the buy all the needed parts like the transmission and bell using and flywheel and mounts to do all this with,its not easy but it can be done,and its worth doing because the manual transmissions in those truck are almost bullet proof,its really hard to tear one of those things up,you also need to cut a hole in the floor pan for the shifter,plus you,ll nee all the clutch parts,total cost on doing this should be around 750 bucks and that going all used parts with it,i did one before for customer and they had about 1200 in it counting labor and parts,and it will take you a good 3-4 days to do this one,good luck.
