Of course you can!

First, download this File

Program doesn't work on windows 2000/xp

1. Start IMEIWriter, go to Logger, connect to phone, it must be off. Click Read Phone and press the read button on the phone shortly while the program is scanning...

2. Enter old and new IMEI, click OK

3. Click Save Log and save it

4. Close IMEIWriter, open Siemens P35 IMEI Map Maker and go to IMEI Change. Then click Open Log, select your Log and click Save Map.

5. Close it and open IMEIWriter, go to Write IMEI, Open Map, select your Map and click Write IMEI.

You can change your IMEI by using IMEI Changer by Lead, but it locks your phone and you phone will become dead when you flash a newer version than 21

If you just want to change it, but don't care what the new value is, then swap out the flash chip - the FSN is based on the (factory programmed) device serial number of the flash chip.

If you want all the details, the device datasheet is here:

http://www.datasheetarchive.com/pdf-datasheets/Datasheets-33/DSA-640190.pdf

If you look at section 13.3 of the datasheet (page 47 of the PDF) - this is what the FSN is based on.

If you want a specific value, then your only option is to patch the firmware - the first 64 bits of the protection register space is write-protected even on a brand-new chip. Also note that if you do swap out the chip, you will need to use a testpoint to boot the phone, since the A55/A56 normally boot from a bootcore located in the external flash, and it's not going to be there with a blank chip.

I also have to ask why you want to change this number - the only thing it's normally used for is as part of the protection on the security blocks, and they have been completely reverse-engineered, so you can fill them with whatever data you want, based on whatever FSN you like.
