Hi,
I had to file an appeal for the spring semester due to a low gpa in order to receive financial aid for that semester. Now unfortunately, I have to file it again for the summer semesters. My gpa and credit hours completed do not meet the SAP policy. This semester I had 3 jobs. So it was somewhat difficult to get up for an 8 am class when i just got to bed at 3 am. I also was stuck in my home town for 2 to 3 weeks due to transportation and financial circumstances which caused me to miss a lot of assignments. I was however able to pull a C in one of my classes despite my absences and things of that sort. I worked so many jobs because I have a car note this semester and I also help my mother out by sending her money every now and then. In my appeal letter I plan on stating the above reasons and how I now know that 3 jobs and being a full time student is a bit too much, and I need to stop putting so much stress on myself and how I can approve my academic habits not only for the upcoming semester but for every semester that follows. Hopefully they accept my appeal. Does anyone have experience or knowledge on filing more than one appeal for financial aid? Thank you in advance.
