I was wondering what are my chances of getting Independent status on the FASFA with the approval of my school's Financial Aid Counselor with these specific reasons?
Also, how much in financial aid would I probably get if I take 12 units for the Spring semester?
- I only made $4,400 in 2009.
- I was kicked out from my house in January 2010 and was technically homeless and stayed with a friend until May 2010
-I'm technically still in danger of being homeless since I don't know how much time my grandmother has...
-Neither of my parents support me what so ever and I'm currently staying with my grandmother who currently has cancer and is taking chemo.
-I have a part-time job and on average make under $400 every month.
Any answers would be very appreciated!!
