Chances of finding out the sex of the baby?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and we are really hoping to find out the sex of the baby at the 20 week ultrasound. But I do not want to give my hopes up too high because I've heard that sometimes the baby won't cooperate and keeps its' legs closed. What are the chances of this happening? Does it just depend on your situation? Thanks!
