Chance of Slight Mercury Poisoning From Thermometer?

During the summer while i was at my dads house we found a mercury thermometer, i didn't no where the case was so i left it on the counter. In the morning i got up and found it broken on the floor with a few tidbits of mercury left, it was hard for me to put it together because i was trying to do the trick where i use a nail and push the droplets together but it was impossible because this was tile flooring and it is a tad uneven/bumpy on the edges, this was also in the kitchen and the window wasn't open nor were there any doors open, although this was a 1 story house it is one where the kitchen has an open connection with the back door and the living room, but i was leaning over the mercury very closely and i was doing this for about 5-10 minutes and the temperature was about either 78-81, i decided to stop because it wasn't working and because i felt a tad bit dizzy and weak, but that is also because i didn't eat breakfast that morning and was up for a little while before hand, i will also add that the temperature outside is very fair to a little above because that was about 10:00 AM outside and my dad lives in Spring, Texas, which is about 30 minutes north of Houston Texas. My dad's friend tom told me that i could clean it up with bleach and that worked (please also tell me if you think that is a good method as well) but after that i ate and lost the weakness/dizzyness, but the real question is is after bending my nose and mouth over the mercury for that long (5-10 minutes) in 78-81 degree temperature inside with no ventilation, do you think there could be any chance that i did get any and i mean ANY brain damage because of that, also the fact that the mercury could have been evaporating since early morning or last night because i have no idea when it broke? I will add that since that there wasn't anything really different with my movements or my motor skills, or my vision. But i would still like to get any input on whether or not any of you might think that i might have gotten even a little bit of brain damage, although i may sound a little like a hypocondriac about this but i do no that even small amounts of mercury can be extremely dangerous if inhaled? I'm also 15 Years old so my brain is still growing and that is also why im a little worried about this as well.
