Certificate based file protection in android...
is it possible? is it possible, for instance, to read .pfx encrypted (or other PKCS based encrypted) pdf files on android?

I've had a pretty thorough search for you, and the only thing remotely close is how to import certs for use with Enterprise WiFi connections, not for reading encrypted files at all. Sorry.

thank you...
I found that information too... but also this information in beamreader features: "Support for encrypted and password protected documents"
perhaps this means that beamreader is my solution...

I have the same problem. I don't know about the others, but Beamreader did not solve it for me.
I placed the certificate file (.pfx) and the pdf in the same folder in my Motorola Xoom, then installed Beamreader and tried to open the pdf. It asked me a password (which raised my hopes for a second) and I entered the password of the certificate, but it didn't work

Did anyone find a solution to this yet?
