The local building department requires that we put cement over the oil lines in the basement that go from the oil tank to the boiler. Does anyone know what kind of cement is used for this? I would imagine just cement without any sand or gravel would be fine, but is there ny reason to use hydraulic cement? The oil line is only about 1/2" diameter and runs along the wall. Thanks!
