Celly's from Japan..

I'm w/ Rogers (Canada) and thinkin of gettin a new celly to upgrade... anyone know of any coo phones i could get from Japan that aren't offered here? I'm thinkin either Motorola or Nokia types...

Most all of the "cool" phones in japan don't work outside of japan

That's just it......Japan uses CDMA (or a variant thereof).....so, you're mostly out of luck.

Some really cool phones you should look into would be the Moto PINK RAZR, Moto E815, Nokia 3210, Moto ROKR, Moto V551, Firefly, Nokia 3220i, Nokia 6820, Moto V186
Those seem all like really good choices

You could on the other hand hook yourself up with the super pimp Sony Ericsson W550. Its JDM at its BEST

I wonder if you would have better luck getting phones from chinatown in NYC. Chinatown always has electronics that you won't see anywhere else other than the far east.
