Cellular data network not on Iphone 3G V4 jailbroken

Trying on this Iphone 3G updated to ISO 4 and jailbroken to put within, general, network, "cellular data network". But it is not there. Doing a search I tried to use optus / virgin gprs fix and also winterboard but both methods do not work. Any other way to do it?

open safari
type "unlockit.co.nz" and open page/continue/disable data(fake apn) install
 
nope still not work, just looking at the site and see other ppl have reported it and you (or whoever own the site) suggested redo the jailbreak with redsnow095b55 which is what I am doing now.
 
well it finally work, dont know if virgin aka t-mobile is crap here but *** it is slow the network connection on it through :-). Maybe 3G is not turn on / no 3g signal in this area..
 
other update (and reason doing these update so help other ppl in the future) 3g speed does work. you just have to turn the iphone off, and than back on...
 
try this

1.reset netwrok settings resrat iphone


2.open safari browser tap i-type: http://www.unlockit.co.nz/#_Custom

then tap " create profile" custom APN

then "install"

exit safari browser then reboot iPhone
