Cellphone taking picture byself?

I was looking through my cellphone photos yesterday then shut it off and went to bed and the next day i looked at them again and a new one came out of nowhere? and its just a black picture of nothing but darkness? i look at when it was taken and it says jan.4th 1981 time:23:59? why would it do this
