my phone fell in water, well the swimming pool lol! well i took out all the sim card, battery and all that, then i used a towel and dried it but then i used a blow dryer make sure its not too hot tho and blow dried all the parts and the phone, i left it there for a while and within a day i put back all the part. Then when i called my friend on that night i couldnt hear her but she could hear me fine, but if u blow dry the parts again, it should be back to normal again, its been 8 months since i dropped it in the swimming pool and its working perfectly fine now! so it'll just take time for it to be back to normal again! good luck! xx
