I recently found out that from Nov 11th - 15th, AT&T phones, with two-year activation, are only $0.01. Here is a list of the phones (However, I also found that the Samsung Focus lists a link to this list as well, even though it is not on this list, so there might be other AT&T phones that the deal might work with as well.) : http://wireless.amazon.com/f/attpenny
I don't necessarily "need" tons of mulitmedia aspects, though I'm sure they'd be nice to have. I just have a Nokia flip phone that I basically just used for calls and texts, so I'm used to using physical buttons to text. I wouldn't be against typing on a touchscreen, I just wonder how it is for prolonged use if someone was to do a lot of texting.
So basically, I'd want good call quality/reception and would hope to be able to text easily on it. I figured QWERTY keyboard phones might be easier, but if touchscreens can work well too, that can work (I'm just not used to touchscreen typing phones, is all.) Have there been people out there who have used QWERTY and touchscreen typing and prefer touchscreen typing, for example?
As per the sticky in this section, I live in California, and, naturally, am with AT&T.
