cell phone purchase question

i travel to croatia every year. i was wondering if anyone has any advise on wat cell phone i should purchase, and also wat network is used mostly (gsm800, 850, 900, 1800, 1900) i had a sony T630 but my dad lost it some how, was this a good selection?

you may as well get a quadband phone, if you liked your t630 then the z520 would be a nice choice. hope that helps
