Cell phone n00b needing help.

I am currently with verizon and will be switching to cricket soon. Im looking for a phone with qwerty keypad and has web.

So what are the pro's/cons of using a flashed phone?

Is there a list of phones that can be flashed for cricket that are 100% fully flashed and functional...i would like everything to work. I know somephones can get some/most things but what phones can be/have been fully flashed? :help:

Look at the stickies on the front of the forum. That will give you a basic idea. Advantages are simple: You don't have to spend a bunch of money on a new phone. The disadvantage is you won't get to insure it or get a warranty.

As for giving you a complete list, that would take forever as there are a lot of phones out there that can be fully flashed that aren't even on the stickies on the front of the forum. My suggestion would be that if you find a phone you like googe your phone's model then add "fully flashed to cricket". I have never gone wrong doing that.

The LG Rumor/Scoop/ux260 has a qwerty keyboard and Amoamare has a nice tut on that one.

i hate threaRAB like this

and i always wonder about these people whom want a "complete list" of phones that can be flashed

seems that they would have a few ideas about which phones they are interested in...or else, maybe they are just trying to start flashing many phones and want to know from were to start pooling info

hmmmmmmm

sorry brah. Like i said i know nothing about the feature of phones....in regarRAB to it having the web, are their certain types of web? like some pones may be very limited to certain generic type of sites as opposed to the "real" web like the iPhone. How can i tell what type of web a phone has? Will all high end phones like touchscreen use the "real" web.

Also, in regarRAB to the warranty. If i went and had it flashed at a cricket dealership and later on had problems with it due to it being flashed like some people have posted on here would they not fix it? or are you talking strictly like a manufacter warranty.
