When you plug in the charger in the the outlet but you are not charging the phone (the other side is empty), does the charger still take power?
From what I know, for those AC adapters that have a transformer inside, it is going to take power regardless if the DC output is plugged with device since it is a two current system. So the adapter is still going to get hot.
But for the cell phone charger, it doesn't get hot, so I assume it doesn't take power? The charger do have a transformer inside, right?
