Cell-car analogy: biology asap!?

Yes, I am posting this again because I forgot what I have already.
So so far I have this. Please tell me what I'm missign and what it would fit into and for what reason. If you feel that something isn't right, please explain to me why.

The cell membrane is like the outer shell of the car since it supports and protects the cell like the outer shell of the car.
The ER is like all the wires and pipes in the car that carry materials.
Cytoplasm can be compared to the frame since it supports everything inside.
The mitochondria is like the engine of the car because it converts sugar into energy like gasoline is converted into energy by the engine.
Storage compartments and the trunk are like vacuoles because they store things
