Celexa and Alcohol

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone had any idea about this question. I am currently on Celexa 20 mg and I normally take it at 8 pm. I am going out for the first time in a while tonight and I am thinking of getting a small glass of wine or beer while I am out. I have not had a drink in a while because I am always too afraid too but now I would like to try a small amount. Does anyone have any information of whether or not it would be alright? I heard its okay, then I heard that because I take my med at 8 and I am going out at 10 it would not be a good idea because my med and the alcohol will be mixed together too close in time. I have no idea. Anyone???
 
I have never had any problems drinking on Celexa.. and I'm on 60 mg.

My Dr didn't mention anything about being able to/or not able to drink while on Celexa.... but I didn't even think to ask since I only have a drink like once every 2 months
