I have pages and pages of written CBT, after the first time i write it i never go back and read any of it! are we suppose to go back and read our CBT sheets? Our analysis? Just wondering?

Ive never read what i write!

I am like you, I have thick notebooks full of them and I seldom go back and read what I wrote but I won't throw them away? I think reviewing may be a good idea but I honestly don't know if it is or not. I sometimes look back a few days but have never picked up my old notebooks and gone through them. Great question and sorry I do not have a great answer:confused:

I forgot to add that for me CBT is an ongoing process and I still counter my thoughts in my TEA forms almost everyday and usually first thing in the morning. That's why I have so many old notebooks of them;)

Good question. I don't usually go back and look at my old ones but I do keep all of them. Probably would be good to look back just to measure how much you have changed (Hopefully for the better:)) I may even do this myself, thanks for the idea.

I went back and re-read a bunch of mine and it is pretty neat to see how much my thinking has evolved. Also kind of weird in that I don't even relate to some of the things I used to write and feel like a different person than me wrote them. But they are in my hand writing and I remeraber writing them. I think it is worthwhile and will probably give you a boost to review some of yours son1981.
