ExpressVu launches a secondary CBC HD channel at ch.804. It will carry additional Saturday night games, some in HD, some in Widescreen. Looks like ExpressVu has to wait until CBC makes a decision on whether they will provide it in HD. Nice, bonus games.

Hmm, that channel was previously used (very briefly) for CBCHW (Vancouver), which has long been promised as a permanent addition to BEV's lineup.

It looks like 804 is CBC HD Ottawa at the moment.

804 is carrying the Sens game in HD tonight. Now I don't have to watch the Leafs. Best news I've had all day.

Edit: guess I spoke too soon. It's only SD - but at least it's widescreen.

It might be SD Widescreen but the PQ is absolutely horrible.

It's only some upconverted widescreen... not HD. I have no idea why because one HD truck is in Montreal for the game vs the Leafs... they should've had this in HD,

There have been other Sens games that weren't the national game, but were broadcast in HD OTA.
