cavaleir 1996 chevy question?

ok darn my luck about 2 days ago the serpitine belt as well as the waterpum and radiator hose went out on my car.. i been 2 days trying to fix it one to get the parts adn try to work on it and all day today .. the problem is i cant get the last bolt off the water pump.. i was wondering if it would cause damage to mu engine for it to sit with lil or no antifreeze/water at all in below freezing weather.. i try to work on it in the above freezing weather but ive had no luck with the bolt im getting a tool today that should help but its already almost below freezing and getting to cold for me to work on it
 
If you mean that the system had antifreeze in it and now it's dry it should not be a problem. If it has any plain water in it at all it could freeze and break something. Dry or antifreeze= good, water=bad.
