I just found this, and it kind of freaked me out. I live in Los Angeles and I have been talking all day about how weird the weather has been today. There have been crazy looking dark clouds in all directions of the city, and they've been there all day. They haven't moved with the wind or anything, and today was a pretty windy day. Then I come home to stumble upon this article:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/solar-storm-could-cause-more-damage-than-hurricane-katrina-2221706.html
Does anyone know if this article is reliable? I do think the world is bound to have something wild happen in the near future, but I feel like if this was it, we'd be hearing more about it. Am I just out of the loop here? Does anyone know what's really going on? Do I just smoke too much weed?
Thanks in advance.
Larry- I definitely did NOT notice, which is why I was slightly caught off guard with this. You think something messing with magnetic energy would at least throw off your human energy slightly. But then again I'm no expert, just a curious person. Say this solar storm would be as big as this article says, would it cause other things in earth to get thrown off balance or would it not effect us even slightly?
