I have heard these terms used interchangeably. I know what a catalytic converter is but is a cadillac converter the same thing or something else? If it is the same thing, does anyone know where this term came from? were cadillacs the first one to have a catalytic converter?
I think the problem is that other people around her(New England-Rhode Island) tend to call it a cadillac converter because at first I was confused and asked them to describe the part and it sounded just like a catalytic converter so it was something that was bothering me, thanks.
