...help. Any ideas? I have an 11 year old Himalayan male cat that I adopted 2 years ago. He constantly has this thick mucus brown coloured discharge that comes from his eyes and nose. I have had to the vet and on antibiotics 3 times. Each time the discharge seems to get a bit better in that it becomes less opaque and runnier. Unfortunately as soon as he comes off the antibiotics the discharge goes back to the way it was before. I know that Himalayans are prone to eye discharge. Help! Oh by the way I know the first question you are going to ask is “is he eating and drinking?” The answer is although he is a bit thin he most certainly eats and drinks.
