cat remove from a 09 RK

Has anyone done this ..........(what does it require)......and what was the difference?

Also would it be easier to get non California headers than doing a "remove".

there are many threads on this if you do a search, most are reporting a reduction in heat and an increase in sound.

I have a Canadian bike so the '09's have the cats in them. I just took my header pipes off and installed the V&H Power Duals. The reduction of heat on the right side has been incredible. The sound from the Monster Ovals had bumped up a bit too. I'm going to get the decibels checked to see what the increase has been. You'll also find a nice little bump in the HP and Torque.
