I have two beautiful cats that I adore. One is 2 and the other 3. I just went down to clean their litter and realized that the big plastic mat had a little damp spot beside it. When I picked up the mat it was wet underneath but not on top and there was no smell. I wiped the mat and the color was yellow. I guess someone had a little accident. Does that always mean a UTI? Even if there is no smell at all? I always thought cat pee had a terrible strong odor. I have never seen either one do this and it is so weird that it is mostly wet UNDER the mat...one of them had a burst of creativity.
As if to show me it wasn't on purpose one of them peed when I was just down there in the box as usual. Sorry about earlier mom!
There was no smell. which is weird and had me wondering if there was a water leak or if something else had happened. That would be a little too coincidental...but I would be delighted.
One is male and the other female. Usually the pee smell can be strong...which is another odd thing.
I even tried taking a black light down there and nothing lit up. I had cleaned already though.
