For about a week now, my cat has been eating less than normal. He's been eating only 1/4-1/2 a cup of food a day. Normally he does 1 cup. He has also been lethargic, acting strange, and his stomach feels harder than normal as well as his stomach has been making strange gurgling noises. I haven't noticed diarrhea or vomiting, or anything else that is immediately threatening, but I am still VERY concerned. He also will still eat treats just fine, so it's only his dry food he isn't eating as much. What does that mean? The same thing has happened to my dogs as well. Neither of them have been eating as much and both have been very tired. SO could something have been passed between my cat to the dogs, or vice versa. And should I take my cat to the vet? Multiple answers would be the best I suppose since I know the symptoms aren't very specific. I'm just very concerned, and this has been going on for a week, so I need to know at what point do I call the vet, or what is going on with him????
