I don't know if anyone talked about this before, but what the hey.
For those who don't know, in 1946, Warner Brothers and MGM made two cartoon shorts that were almost identical in terms of plot theme and several other elements. Both shorts involved a character playing a piano piece by Franz Liszt on stage, and both involved a mouse.

Both WB and MGM accused each other of plagiarism, but ultimately, it was unknown whether one of them plagiarized the other or whether it was an extraordinary coincidence.
What do you think?
