so my new kitten chewed right through my cord. my fathers an electrician and we figured we could fix the problem but are unsure how to do it. there are 4 (maybe 5 because 2 of the wires inside is combinded) wires inside the grey cable. we soldered them together with their corrisponding colors but no success. I'm curious what we did wrong. also the green wire inside doesnt look like a wire at all but im not to sure. anyone had this problem and fixxed it? would rather not spend 60 bucks to buy another when i still have all the parts to this one in perfect condition. please help
