I adopted a sweet little gray cat who I named Allie when she showed up as a stray on my porch a few months ago, and she was nothing but love and sweetness. I get her vetted and spayed, shes got her rabies and distemper vaccines. Now she will be laying down and purring and letting you pet her and sitting on your lap, and then will randomly start biting your hand, hard. i have one other cat. She is much bigger and older, and they have spars sometimes, like Hailey (the other cat) will walk up and bat at her intimidatingly, and Allie will squeal and roll onto her side submissively.
I love her to death, but everyone in my family has been hurt by her and I want her nice personality back.
Any ideas why she changed?
What can I do to stop her aggression? She's also extremely possessive of food and whatever toy she's playing with (probably from living on her own for a long time outside)
