I've always used regular oil and now I switched it castrol syntec for my 2005 Acura TSX. It was actually put in the car due to a misunderstanding. Will it be bad for the car? Can I switch back to regular oil on the next oil change? Thanks.

It's not too bad.. It may cause premature engine wear due to the cheapness of the oil, however if you try to use your mental powers you may be able to cause the engine oil to become better thus making it more vicious and jucied out.

Synthetic oil is better in every way than any mineral based engine oil, if flows faster after a cold start and protect at much higher temperatures, engine using synthetic will not form sludge. Yes you can switch back if you want to.
