I loved the credits, how they had vesper's face in the cards as well as James. They were very interesting and i loved em! They were perfect for this movie cuase they related!

But yeah their GREAT!

Did anyone feel sorry for Bond at the end? It was kinda sad that he's like he is now, we saw who he was before the human but the Bond in the rest of the series is kinda inhuman! He used to feel emotion but now he really doesn't!
 
Could someone help me understand the plot a bit better? ...near the end espeically? some parts moved so fast I got quite confused LoL
[sp]Okay so Le Chiffre funds terrorists by investing their money into stocks. I understood that part...but was someone trying to sabatoge him by runing the unveiling of that plane or was he trying to manipulate the market by sabotaging the plane? and I also didn't get who killed him at the end... :confused: [/sp]
 
I'm so happy for Daniel Craig that this film has been a financial hit and he as Bond has gone down brilliantly with most people. To think of all the unfair criticism he went through earlier this year..

:nod: I hate nothing more than boring opening credits...or no credits for that matter but these Bond openeing credits were fabulous. Very stylish and perfect (well I love cards anyway) so yes I´m in love with them. Alos the song fits. "You know my name" I mean it´s true we know his name but so far I think we didn´t know the real Bond or better to say what made him "Bond, James Bond". Therefore very fitting and intelligent.

Like the one scene with M were she calls the press "bastards" IMO a nice remark in regrads to the press and "Craig as Bond haters" ;)
 
This movie is still playing where I live and I had seen everything else currently out, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I loved it!!

Daniel Craig was teriffic!! I hated the casting of him as Bond but I have to eat my words now. He was perfect!!! And I loved Eva Green. She and Daniel had great chemistry.
 
I cant beleive Mads Mikkelson wasnt in the cast list!! He was the villain for gods sake.....lets give him at least some credit people. Neways, i was wishing that Eva should have been his girl in the movie......would have made it more interesting. At least, she was on his side the entire time rather than on Jame's side. That was the best part. Though i think they should have more scenes together. Also, he checks her out only once in the entire mov....that sucked. She would have made a better vamp rather than the heroine in the film. Oh well :(
 
The movie gets released on the 7th in australia, i might be seeing it on the 8th.

Can anyone tell me what [sp]that coat scene was about that you guys said was good the one between vesper and bond. When she's in the white topish kind of thing![/sp]

I just watched it today and...wow. :) I've never been into the whole James Bond franchise...but I think I'm now convinced to go back and watch the ones I've missed.

Did anyone else think the open credits were great? I love it when the opening credits are done well in films...This one was just great. The colours, the style...the music...was perfect for creating the atmosphere for the film.

Damn that I wasn´t into Bond when he was here ...it would have just been so near to go see myself on the red carpet *sigh* well he´ll be Bond for quite a while now I guess...so chances he´ll come around again are good...

ETA: I just watched the "Because of you " vid :thud: awsome!
 
:lol: that's OK, totally understandable ;)


I do recomend the early Connery Bond films especially Dr No and Goldfinger. Craig is much more like Connery than any of the others. Of course these films are about 40 years old but they are good and well worth making time to see. I'm also one of the few that really liked Tomothy Dalton as Bond..he only made two films. I'm not a Moore fan and Brosnan was just too smooth, though the films with these two in are decent popcorn films...not too deep. :)
 
PiCkLeS4dAwSoN I agree with every word you said and though Eva Green will remain my favourite James Bond girl ever, I'm already looking forward seeing Quantum of Solace.
