Casey Stoners problems at Ducati (MotoGP)?

I had to laugh when I heard that he crashed within the first 8 mins! I thought it was brake problems though? When I watched the video back on motogp.com he actually only crashed because he went into the gravel.

I dunno if it is trying too hard. I thought it might have been at the last race however in Qatar everyone knew he was going to win, he was constant and when he was in first he should have been able to relax a little.
I don't know if there really is a front end issue like I don't really know if he was that ill to take 3 races off last year. Casey said that Hayden didn't have the front end issue because he doesn't go as fast which I think is a bit of an excuse. I get the feeling that the team are getting a bit annoyed with Casey too. They were rolling their eyes after he crashed to weeks ago and Vittoriano's comments were quite telling. So I am yet to 100% believe that there is a front end issue.
I think it would be a shame as well if the dukes couldn't keep up with the yamaha's. I hope that next year there is a really big change in who is with who so that the racing can be a little bit closer.

Well I know that when Casey binned it he had 09 Ohlins in the yokes and said it was alot better then in recent weeks.

However the crash was caused by the little tank slapper he had just before and it shook the caliper so hard the pads dislodged.

Sounds a little far fetched to be honest, but it can happen I guess.

Casey did an interview with Motogp.com's & the BBC Matt Roberts today, so it will be intresting to see what he says. I know he mentions that the title is not out of reach, but its going to be tough for the lad.

I do hope Casey can get things sorted.

If he goes to HRC next year ( looking like he is ) then he needs to perform. If not he will be labelled as another Freddie Spencer and just burnt his candle to bright from both ends.

Good luck to him. The title needs a good fighter.

I know its only Free practice, and its only Friday.
But Casey losing the front "Again"
still the fastest Duc out there.
Is he trying to hard (as I first thought)
Or does he really have a front end issue.
It would be a shame if the Ducati cant keep up with the Yamaha boys.
Ducati should have enough Data at this track to be up there surely.
Any thoughts without just slagging off Casey.
