Okay, so, when I was very little, we had, at my house, an animated version of The Nutcracker story. I grew up in the 90s but this movie looked like it could've been from the 70s or 80s, most likely 80s. Every time I go back home, I try to find it in the house but it's nowhere to be found. I've tried the internet but all I get results for that version with that Sutherland guy, bleh. It's been bugging me for awhile and I'd really like to find it.
It's actually a very nice movie, it's got a nice, soft, faded sort of look to it. There's no musical numbers or anything either. Now, I can't be too sure but I THINK it may have been from Japan and dubbed into English. Like I said, I was very small when I watched it so I could be remembering wrong but it did look like early Japanese animation. I can't remember much but what I do remember was Clara had only one brother in the story, a long white nightgown, orangey blonde hair in pigtails. I know that's not a lot to go by but it's really all I recall. Does anybody else remember this movie? I can't find it on youtube, google, anywhere. Maybe one of you have seen it before. Much help would be appreciated!
