Cartoon costume help !!?

Okay so my band is joining up with a high school band and were all gonna be in the halftime show at the football game and were doing cartoon show songs but idk what cartoon character i should be .. also i dont want to buy a costume i was thinking of doing velma from scooby doo and buying a red skirt and an orange sweater from like forever 21 thx btw im 13 and am a brunette
