"Carry On London" - thoughts and opinions.

The new Carry On film is in early production so I thought I'd start a thread to chat about it!

The origional Carry On films were absolute gems. But modern attempts seem to have lost the magic - Carry On Columbus, IMHO, was awful.

Despite Columbus - Carry On London looks like it's going ahead.

I was really disappointed to hear that Andy Whyment (who plays Kirk in Corrie and Antony's dim mate in The Royal Family) pulled out of the project because he's a great comic actor. Half the problem of Columbus was that it was filled with with thesps and camp presenters rather than real "characters" and charactor actors.

Names that have been banded about on the cast list for Carry On London include Daniella Westbrook, Jade Goody and Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet!

Given the disaster that was Columbus and the rumoured cast/script problems - should we be optimistic about Carry On London?

Perhaps it should be called Carry On Snowing then.

there is always room for optimism. Not the biggest fan of the original carry on films, I would pay to go and see Jade Goody just to laugh at her.
