I was wondering what the career title would be for someone who wants to be a lawyer for the poor. I saw a television show where a girl was interning at an office that specialized in such things, and I found it interesting. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

Charities and Trade Unions along with other bodies employ lawyers on behalf of their benefactors. They like experienced people to work for them.

To really help the poor, you can become a lawyer and because experience in the job is a valuable commodity, working and earning money from wealthier clients will position you to also help the less fortunate as a part time volunteer.

The more successful you become, the wealthier you will be in your own right so that you can devote more time to them. It will also give you the freedom to chose which clients you want to represent where as if you work for a charitable institution you have to do what they say.00
