I finished a Bachelors degree in accounting about a year ago. Since then I have basically been doing unskilled jobs in the mountains so I could spend some time doing something that I love. I have now realised I am sick of having no money and think its time for a real job and start a career. I am currently 23.
I really did my degree too early (started when I was 18) and didn't spend enough time studying because i was more interested in the social side of college. I ended up with ok, but far from good grades, but probably not enough for a big 4 company.
In my eyes I can either do:
1. Try and get a job with the degree I have. Unlikely to get the job I want with my average.
2. Go back to college and prove to employers that I am an A student if I am focused on it
3. Something else?
I really did accounting to get into more financial management, but my degree was very strict so I had to do a pretty narrow subject range. I am good with people, like researching business opportunities, number crunching on excel ect. so an MBA might not necessarily be a bad idea.
Thanks.
