I am 28 weeks pregnant and I came back 'borderline' for my one hour glucose test so my doc has booked me in for a 2 hour GTT. I am healthy, I walk every day and eat really well so I'm a bit suprised to find out it was slightly higher than normal. I want a negative result ideally (of course) but I'm getting conflicting info. One site says load up on carbs the day before, but another says avoid all carb the day before. What can I do to swing the test in my favour? I'm pretty sure I'll be fine cos I do all the right things for my baby, but I just want a bit of extra security.

Thanks guys!
P.s I know I have to fast beforehand for 8-12 hours, but just wondering what will happen to the test if i go low carb or high carb :)
...in the days before the test I mean!
