Car waxing questions Toyota Corolla ?

Nine months ago I had a car wash/detailing place wax my 1999 Toyota Corolla. They said they use polyurethane. The total charge was $ 99.99. It looked great , and I was very pleased. Today ( 9 months later) this same place has a sign out front that says "Ask about our $ 29.99 wax special "
What is the Catch ? How can they offer a $ 29.99 wax job ? It is the same management. It is 23 degrees and snowing here.
 
They're getting "hungry"! Nobody washes cars in snowy weather! Nor get them polished either.
The low price is bait! Ever go fishing?? If the fish don't like the bait you are using, or if it is tiny--you won't catch many fish! So you put on bigger bait, and the fish practically jump into the boat, or onto your hook!!
 
Business is probably bad now and they are willing to work cheaper.It's probably the same product now as before.
