i have a mazda 6 and whenever i got on the highway and did over a 100km a huge plum of greyish smoke would come out of the exhaust, people have told me maybe it is the head gasket others have told me egr valve. i had it to a mech and he told to take it to the dealer because he can't do anything to fix it. now today i was doing 40km and the same thing happened but it's not a constant thing it happens randomly. it is an automatic and today at 40km it was in 4th gear. the temp is staying normal not losing any coolant all fluids are staying at the normal level and the engine light is not coming on. i had the oil changed under 2000 clicks ago and was happening before the oil change. hopefully someone can help me because no mech has been able to.
also the car never quits and will eventually start working right? like i said it's not constant it happens at different times. but the car always stays on and has no trouble starting. also no smoke when starting.
