Car Trouble: 2000 Honda Accord V6 stalling when i idle for too long?

My 2000 Accord has been fine up until now. When I turn it on, it has a rough start up. Then, when idling, (in park or drive) it has a very rough tremble or shake. On bad days, the tremble is so bad that the car just dies. I have no problems with it when I'm driving it, only when I'm idling.

something that might be related: when I rev it in park, it won't reach above 5,000 rpms. It's never done that before.

Please help me out. I want to try to fix this myself if possible.

I think it might be the EGR valve?
 
the car need a new fuel filter-new plugs and wires-and its got a rev limiter on it-your not supposed to be able to rev it past 5000 rpms-that floats the valves...kinda like taking a hammer to it...my advice-trade it off for the new 2010 camaro-its hott and gets 29 mpg
