Car title transfer + other fees ?

I am looking to buy a used car soon and was wondering what where some of the fees/taxes associated with transferring and actually getting the car title on your name.
Lets say the car costs $3500, The car is year 2000, has 112K miles and its a mitsubishi eclipse, located in CA. Registration is paid for till 2011. So what's the approximate money that i m looking to spend above the 3500$ cost of the car itself.
